Romantic Fall Wedding at Foxhall Resort: Sydney + Mitch

Sydney Mitch Wedding-2820.jpg

Sydney and Mitch became husband and wife on a crisp, fall day at The Stables at Foxhall Resort. Sydney is a photographer who has shot numerous weddings over the years. Working in the industry, she went into planning her wedding knowing exactly what her vision was for the big day and precisely what would make the most stunning photos. Combine her modern taste and professional experience, and you've got a wedding for the books.

The bridesmaids’ cool mismatched grey, blush, and slate dresses (and custom-made earrings by T. Marie Designs) perfectly complemented the bright color palette of florals. The reception design included sleek flatware and matte dinnerware from The Prissy Plate Company, moody black taper candles, and hand tied napkins, accented with vibrant modern floral design throughout the venue. Our favorite touch, though? Sydney’s stunning Hayley Paige gown!

The couple's main priority was for guests to feel welcome and valued as they witnessed this meaningful milestone. The outdoor ceremony was picture perfect in the cool October weather, against a backdrop of changing leaves. Their ceremony, performed by a friend, shared both about Sydney and Mitch's love for each other and their love for the Lord. (Take a peek below at the look of pure elation they shared the moment they were officially announced husband and wife.)

The reception began with Sydney and Mitch's first dance to Ben Rector's rendition of "I Wanna Dance with Somebody", and for the rest of the night, guests danced the night away to the sounds of the live band. References to Sydney and Mitch’s alma mater, Auburn University, were scattered throughout the day. Guests would periodically break out in Auburn’s fight song, as many in attendance are Tigers fans. When it was time for the grand exit, guests picked up a Toomer's lemonade (a favorite from a local Auburn spot) on their way outside for the Auburn shaker send off.

From a tear-jerking first look to a celebratory send off at the end of the night, the two encapsulate why we do what we do - to help people celebrate life's greatest gift. Sydney and Mitch, we are so thankful to have been a part of your amazing story. We wish you all the love and laughter in the world as you walk through life together!
