Emma & James: Atlanta, Georgia Wedding

Ohhh, how I loved planning this wedding. I met Emma in the tenth grade in British Literature. Her quirky sense of humor and love for Jesus made us fast friends. See, Emma's parents live all the way in Greece (yes, Greece!) and realized Emma wasn't having the best time planning alone. Her mom reached out to me about my services, and I was so excited about getting to hang out with Emma again. I met with my old friend to catch up on life since high school, hear about her studly fiancé (who is in the Navy), and start planning her big day. She and James had a vision of "formal warmth" for their wedding - Southern, romantic, and military. Their ceremony took place at Eastside Baptist Church, with a reception following at Indian Hills Country Club. The best part (besides, ya know, marriage)? The day ended with fireworks!! Here are a few of my favorite photos from the amazing Katherine Birkbeck Photography. (You can click on Katherine's site for the full post!)

Congratulations Emma & James! Hope you are having a blast living in New York!
